How I work

Dr. Glassman's therapeutic approach is integrative. She has advanced training in evidence based treatments and uses the most current and effective strategies to help her clients learn the concrete skills needed to achieve real results. She also has advanced training in psychodynamic therapies, allowing her to help those clients who are looking to dig deeper into their inner emotional world. Sometimes, facing and processing complex painful experiences is needed in order to break unhealthy patterns and get to a place of inner peace and lasting change. In addition to cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, Dr. Glassman’s extensive experience as a coach and group class leader in the fitness industry allows her to incorporate mindfulness, yoga, and physical movement with many of her clients. Dr. Glassman sees the therapeutic relationship as central in fostering growth and empowering clients to achieve their goals.
